NEW PRODUCTS ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEM

SMART ROOM CONTROLLERS

Complete room automation with a single device

The RDG200 range from SIEMENS BUILDINGS offers devices that can operate either on a standalone basis or as part of an integrated system for room automation. Built-in sensors, powerful control functionality and a flexible power supply provide versatility for a wide range of applications, with an easy-to- clean surface available in black or white. Using the open KNX communication protocol, the RDG200 integrates with building management systems such as Siemens Desigo and third-party solutions. Several preloaded applications work with the Green Leaf function to support energy-efficient operation. The design features touch-sensitive buttons, a dial, and a customisable interface with universal icons for easy use. Lock functions can be applied where only authorised personnel may change settings. Liquid-cooled energy storage system for C&I applications

Targeting commercial and industrial applications, GOODWE has introduced an all-in-one liquid cooled energy storage solution, with 125kW nominal output power and 261kWh storage capacity. The new ESA Series 125kW/261kWh can cover a wide spectrum of use cases in factories, farms, EV charging stations, commercial complexes, and other grid- connected or off-grid applications. By integrating the Power Conversion

display, housed in a thermostat just 25 mm deep. The device’s outputs and ventilation

features suit installations including fan coil, heat pump and universal applications. An in-built CO₂ sensor complements temperature and humidity monitoring to support air quality. Installation and commissioning are simplified by an easy-to-wire mounting plate and options such as system tools, DIP switches, HMI and a

System (PCS), battery cells, Energy Management System (EMS), and Battery Management System (BMS) within a single cabinet, the ESA Series streamlines installation, operation, and maintenance while supporting flexible capacity expansion. This architecture enables scalability from hundreds of kilowatt-hours to multi-megawatt-hours, supporting up to 15 units in parallel with a total capacity reaching up to 3.91MWh in on-grid scenarios. The ESA Series uses lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells and liquid cooling technology to maintain consistent temperatures across battery packs, even

under extreme environmental conditions. The cabinets are compact, occupying 1.47m2, and are rated for 6,000 cycles while operating in temperatures from -25°C to 55°C. Safety features include multi- layer protection at cell and system levels, integrated aerosol-based fire suppression, smoke and gas detection, and humidity monitoring. This solution supports a range of

operating modes including peak shaving, demand control, energy trading and off-

grid backup. ■ emea.goodwe.com
