Control for natural and hybrid ventilation systems


PASSIVENT has introduced the iC9000, a new and improved control system for use with its natural and hybrid ventilation systems. It offers all the benefits of the existing iC8000 controller in terms of energy and operational efficiency, multi-zone control and occupant comfort, but with added features and benefits that make it a more sustainable solution. Using Passivent’s


own natural ventilation software, it can be used as a stand-alone system or integrated with a Building Management System via BACnet communication.

Launched within the Smartsys energy storage range, SOCOMEC has introduced two battery energy storage system (BESS) products, the Smartsys C260 and Smartsys M5000. The range targets commercial, industrial and utility-scale applications, including sites with renewable generation, EV charging infrastructure and grid- connected energy projects. The systems can provide energy storage alongside remote monitoring and control functions through the SoLive Pro BESS digital platform.


The Smartsys C260 is a compact


cabinet-based system combining battery storage and power conversion, offering 125 kVA and 261 kWh of capacity. It is suitable for smaller commercial and industrial installations and can be deployed in parallel configurations for increased capacity. Expanding its cooling portfolio, TRANE TECHNOLOGIES added the FLEX N, a new range of modular full-inverter scroll air cooled chillers. The new units use non-ozone-depleting, ultra-low GWP R290 refrigerant and deliver high performance in a compact footprint across a broad range of applications, from comfort to demanding process cooling environments.
