Portal supports lighting designers with resources
Designed to meet the needs, challenges and workflows of the lighting design community, a new website portal has been launched by SIGNIFY which offers visitors easy access to the latest innovations in lighting technology. The ‘Pioneers of Light Portal’ includes a suite of tools and a wealth of resources, to help users to identify the ideal lighting solution to meet their needs. Pioneers of Light is designed specifically to meet the needs, challenges and workflows for the lighting design community. The Pioneers of Light product
configurator enables the visitor to browse, configure, and specify lighting products using one easy-to-use tool. Selections can be based on a few simple photometric parameters or a fully-fledged, detailed configuration. Once completed, all relevant information can be downloaded, with the option of sharing with clients or used for price inquiries.
An intuitive light calculator saves on time and puts together a light plan for simple indoor office and industrial spaces. Simply fill out the dimensions, properties and performance requirements of the space and Signify will devise a light plan that meets a project’s standards. The platform also features case
studies for inspiration and ideas, and offers easy access to all Signify brands, webinars, training and educational resources about smart lighting, system features and capabilities. Designed for demanding environments
Galaxy 2 is a new high- performance lighting solution from VENTILUX, designed to provide an emergency lighting solution for the most demanding environments, including residential, commercial, warehousing, data centres, education institutions and more. Featuring a high-impact

Lighting specialist TRILUX is now offering the Oleveon Fit and Aragon Fit moisture- proof luminaires in a new sustainable version. The diffuser and housing of both models are made from 100% recycled plastic, in line with the company’s commitment to a fully circular economy. Two types of recycled plastic are used
for the sustainable luminaires. To meet the high demands placed on the optical system, the diffuser is made of post- industrial polycarbonate, sourced from production waste in the automotive and consumer electronics industries, such as headlights or monitor covers. Meanwhile, the housing is crafted from post-consumer
polycarbonate, which is made from recycled, shredded green PE bottles. This material gives the housing a subtle, translucent green tint, highlighting the sustainability of the luminaires and clearly distinguishing them from the classic portfolio. These variants are easily identified with the ‘RCY’ label. The recycled raw materials are supplied in
pellet form, which can be fed directly into the production process without further adjustments, enabling production capacities to be adapted quickly and easily. As with all TRILUX products, customers
