Updated boiler improves on performance


An updated version of the Remeha by Baxi Quinta Ace commercial boiler series has been launched, offering a range of new features and now available with aluminium and stainless steel heat exchanger options. Available from April, the new Quinta Ace will include an all-new optional gas adaptive kit for biogas to support the transition towards a net zero heating system. ‘Next generation’ water heater offers enhanced efficiency


The EcoKnight XL is the latest addition to the commercial water heating range available from LOCHINVAR. It is available in four models, with outputs ranging from 113 to 283kW, and is designed to meet the demands of a wide range of applications including schools, commercial buildings, hotels and healthcare facilities. EcoKnight XL boast a seasonal


efficiency of over 96%, a 10:1 turndown ratio, and an updated heat exchanger that enhances overall system performance. The units feature rear connections and


the ability to cascade up to eight units so the system can be precisely matched to meet different hot water requirements. This increases overall efficiency, which makes these heaters ideal for both retrofit and new build projects, in conjunction with hybrid systems where permitted. “Lochinvar has a strong reputation for its

The Swedish based hydronics solutions specialist, ESBE, has introduced the new high-specification Series GMB600 distribution units for managing zoned heating. The ‘Flexbox’ offers installers greater


efficiency as well as flexibility when installing boilers or renewable heating systems, in both domestic and commercial premises where there are two or three heating zones. The compact boxes can be surface mounted or recessed into a wall for which a blanking strip is available. When mounted inside the wall, a cover strip is available as an


option to cover the transition between the box and the wall or other substrate, while the design of the air vent valve allows for 360° orientation. Intended for DN20 compatibility, there


are two incoming connection ports (left and right) on the supply side, though one is plugged to avoid unnecessary piping. The proportions of the Flexbox also allow for either uninsulated GxA394 or insulated GxA311 circulation units to be installed, along with shut off valves. GRA394 has a 3-way rotary mixing valve with progressive characteristic and comes with a knob for manual adjustments, but can be equipped with your preferred actuator (ARA) or controller (CRx).
