MCV/DEVELOP Women in Games Awards

We were delighted to be able to once again celebrate the Women in Games Awards, which took place at 26 Leake Street in Waterloo. With it being 18 months since the last time we were able to celebrate the women of the UK games industry, and almost three years since finalists, guests and supporters were able to gather in-person, we did our best to make up for lost time.

Here are the key upcoming events and releases to mark in your calendar...

This somewhat… unusually titled game is significantly more exciting than its name might suggest. Development on the game is being led by Tomoya Asano, producer of the excellent Bravely Default and Octopath Traveller games. If that doesn’t grab your attention, the game’s gorgeous art style surely will, as Asano returns to the aesthetic that made Octopath Traveller so unique.

Gran Turismo 7 is, somehow, the eighth mainline instalment in Polyphony Digital’s beloved franchise. Explain that one to me. Still, car aficionados have been counting down the days until they can return to this classic PlayStation franchise, which launched on PS4 and PS5 early this month.
