YORKSHIRE GAMES FESTIVAL February 13th-18th


The Yorkshire Games Festival took place 13-18 February at the National Science & Media Museum in Bradford celebrating the industry in the region and UK with talks from Team17, nDreams, XR Games and Rocksteady. Games business network Game Republic held a special drinks reception and dinner for speakers, festival guests and industry on Thursday 24th February which began in the Games Lounge of the museum - complete with ZX Spectrum playing classic Manic Miner and arcade cabinets such as Donkey Kong and Space Invaders – before heading to Jinnah’s Restaurant nearby for a curry! Attendees included Radical Forge, Sharkmob, Huey Games, Cooperative Innovations, games writer Keith Stuart and sponsors Barclays and Escape Technology.
