There were few surprises at this year’s BAFTA Games Awards, with God of War Ragnarök coming away with the lion’s share of the accolades and Elden Ring with two. Horizon Forbidden West, Immortality and Rollerdrome were always going to get something (one apiece as it turned out), but what no one was expecting to see was Vampire Survivors not only win Best Design, but also the big one - Best Game. With Tunic earning itself two BAFTAs, it was great to see AAA and indie titles sharing equal spoils.
