Baker & Baker introduces Cadbury Snow Balls into in-store fresh bakery

European bakery products manufacturer Baker & Baker is launching a new Cadbury Snow Balls Cookie into the UK in-store bakery market. This represents the first winter-themed

cookie launched by Baker & Baker, and seeks to build on the record breaking seasonal success of the Cadbury M ini Eggs Chocolate Cookie during the last two Easter periods. The absence of a dedicated winter-

themed cookie within the UK in-store bakery market, combined with Snow Balls – a popular, seasonal Cadbury confectionery brand – will drive considerable consumer trial and impulse purchases. The limited-edition cookie is baked fresh

in-store and features a familiar Cadbury’s chocolate cookie dough, which is then packed

with mini Snow Ball inclusions. This cookie is also the first Cadbury Snow Balls product to be launched into the UK bakery category. The seasonal Snow Balls Cookie will

complement the three core, existing flavours in the Cadbury fresh cookies in-store bakery range, which includes Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate & Orange, Cadbury Dairy Milk and Cadbury Dairy Milk Caramel. The Cadbury Snow Balls Cookie will be

sold in a pack of four, with an RRP of £2.00. Initial listings of the product include Coop, Asda, Morrisons and Sainsbury’s from early November. Michael Bancroft, Licensing Director

at Baker & Baker, said: “We’re excited to introduce the Cadbury Snow Balls brand

Comptoir Bakery launches festive French baking workshops in London

Comptoir Bakery, the acclaimed artisan French bakery in Bermondsey,

has

launched a series of Christmas baking workshops running throughout November and December, inviting bakers of all levels to learn traditional festive patisserie in a fun, hands-on setting. Led by master

pastry chef Sebastien Wind – who trained in Lyon and has worked alongside Gordon Ramsay and Marco Pierre White – each immersive class teaches participants to create, taste, and take home authentic French treats. Guests can master showstopping Bûches de Noël, the

iconic yule log; bake the golden Galette des Rois, filled with almond frangipane and hiding the traditional ‘fève’; or craft soft, fragrant Christmas brioche buns with festive fillings like mincemeat or cinnamon. Another class focuses on delicate French Christmas biscuits, both sweet and savoury, packaged in Comptoir’s exclusive tins – perfect for gifting. Workshops cost £100 per person or £215 for two with

wine, and include a welcome drink and a Comptoir-branded chef’s apron. Held at Comptoir Bakery’s Druid Street school, each

three-hour session combines professional expertise with festive cheer – an ideal way to embrace the season and learn timeless French baking traditions.

into the fresh bakery category. Driven by a growing consumer appetite for brands in Fresh bakery, this is the first time the ‘nation’s favourite’ Cadbury brand is landing on the instore bakery aisle for the winter season. “We believe the chocolate cookies format will

generate significant consumer appeal, impulse purchase and play a key role in driving the ‘seasonal snacking’ occasion.” Baker & Baker operates an exclusive licensing

partnership with Mondelēz to manufacture and distribute fresh bakery products, including leading brands Milka, Oreo and Cadbury, across key European markets. In-store activations will also be taking place

with selected retailers from November onwards, to drive impulse sales.
