Darren Litton: Honestly, everything. Getting the shell thickness right, making sure it set properly in the mould, demoulding it — every step had   for the team. But they regrouped, brainstormed,         temperamental, especially at this scale.


Kiran Grewal: Good Egg to give back to the community?


Darren Litton:    Easter and turn it into thousands of limited- edition chocolate bars. A percentage of the 


Kiran Grewal: You’ve gone from 2 kilos to 4 kilos  chocolate egg engineering?


Darren Litton: I don’t think so! Our operations   ton. We might need a bigger factory though.


We jumped from 4 kilos to 300 kilos.


Why not!”


Kiran Grewal:  seeing the 7-foot-tall Good Egg come to life?


Darren Litton:              incredible. The team did an amazing job, and they should all be really proud.


Kiran Grewal: You’ve mentioned being inspired   Good Egg?


Darren Litton: He’d be very, very proud to see it standing there, absolutely.


Kiran Grewal:       


Darren Litton: We’re still a small business — not tiny, but small enough to maintain a collaborative mindset. We involve everyone in ideas and discussions, no matter their role.


Just this morning, someone in


                     everyone feels comfortable to contribute.


Kiran Grewal:  


Darren Litton: It can, but I think it’s more about mindset than size. You can have a    across all levels.


Kiran Grewal:   technical side of making the egg? Were you hands-on or more of a project overseer?


Darren Litton:        involved in brainstorming and problem- 


Kiran Grewal: With chocolate prices rising and   keeping your products accessible?


Darren Litton: For us, quality is non-negotiable.                too much of the price rise onto customers.


Kiran Grewal: Will customers get a taste of the Good Egg in those limited-edition bars? And… any golden ticket surprises?


Darren Litton: That’s a great idea! We might just steal that golden ticket suggestion — it’s going straight on the ideas board.
