New products from Minebea Intec

Stand: B20

Provider of weighing and inspection technologies presents new products and powerful software tools that help automate the processing and production of manufacturing plants. PPMA is taking place 27-29 September in the heart of the Midlands at the NEC, where a range

of exhibitors will present products related to packaging and processing. In the exhibition halls in Birmingham, the new Vision Inspection product from Minebea Intec will be on show for the fi rst time. The new product VisioPointer® is one of three new Vision Inspection products from Minebea Intec and further enhances the already popular inspection portfolio. It is also one of the key products that helps drive automation within production and processing manufacturing. Combined with the Automatic Weigh Price Labeller WPL-A customers can automate their entire end of production line where labelling plays a signifi cant part of the manufacturing.

Automation is increasingly being used on processing and packaging lines to overcome diffi culties and keep them running effectively and effi ciently. The impact of global challenges on local economies is impacting on the manufacturing of products and consumables; therefore, the automation of processes is one of the ways to overcome these challenges for customers. Labour shortages, demands for consistency and meeting food safety standards are just some of the issues but other drivers are coming into effect. The desire to reduce packaging, waste and be more environmentally friendly are increasingly at the forefront of customers’ minds so it is important to provide them with the solutions they need.

Dust extraction specialist continues 50th anniversary year with attendance at PPMA Show

Stand: E30

Dustcontrol UK is set to exhibit a range of its highly effective extraction equipment at next month’s highly anticipated Processing and Packaging Machinery Association Show (PPMA) – as the company continues to mark 50 years of extraction solutions for the production industry. The Dustcontrol team will be showcasing the fi rm’s extensive

range of both fi xed and mobile cyclone-based dust extractors, air cleaners, as well as a selection of mobile machines on stand E30.

The DC11-Module for example, which comes in several models, is an optimised stand-alone unit for source extraction and industrial cleaning. It has been designed to service up to six normal extraction points or several cleaning outlets at a time, and is modularly built, meaning it can be tailor-made to suit any manufacturing and production environment. As with all of Dustcontrol UK’s equipment, the DC11-Module

can be fi tted with HEPA 13 fi lters, allowing exhaust air to be safely returned to the work environment. Alternatively, the fi rm’s evolved GFF (Good For Food) range of food and pharma-grade dust extraction accessories and equipment is also set to be on display. The GFF range is designed to offer effi cient dust extraction and cleaning of food contact areas that previously may not have been allowed, while also opening up the possibility for recycling. James Miller, Director of Dustcontrol UK, said: “The PPMA exhibition is a great event and one that we’re all very excited to showcase our products at. We supply a complete range of dust collector equipment and accessories for large and small companies across many industries – from aviation and automotive, to metal work, printing, food, and pharmaceuticals.”
