by a changing magnetic field within a conductor, also created by moving the conductor in a magnetic field. Eddy current flow is in planes perpendicular to the magnetic field. An alternating current passing
through a wire coil creates an oscillating magnetic field in an eddy current sensor, so for eddy current testing, a specially-created coil is brought close
to the testing area. This creates a fluctuating magnetic field that interacts with a particular sample, producing eddy current measurements.
