Upgraded AOF Oil Mist Filters from AirBench
AirBench Ltd have announced an upgraded range of AOF Oil Mist Filters. The AOF range is designed for extraction of oil mist and smoke from machining applications. AOF units can be machine-mounted, or supplied with separate stands where required. AOF is designed to use the wind shear principle for initial
separation of mist from airstreams. As the contaminant loading on the fan is very low, typically they do not suffer from loss of impeller balance and so can be serviced in-house at relatively long intervals. Units are supplied as standard with a high-grade final filter
with an estimated life of up to 3600 working hours. Usually available from stock, and supplied complete with all parts required for mechanical installation, AirBench can solve most mist extraction issues quickly and simply.

Stertil FlexiEdge Door supports 24/7 production of dairy products
Stertil Dock Products has installed a FlexiEdge fast-action door to support round the clock operations for a global leader in the production of milk and dairy products. Measuring 2000mm wide x 3500mm high, the Stertil
FlexiEdge fast-action door, type Power M2, was specified to provide ready access to a refrigerated area within the site’s butter loading dock. The new Stertil FlexiEdge door, which incorporates an insulated curtain, is lightweight, durable and easy to operate. The FlexiEdge door is activated by a radar detector on
both sides with a built in PIR safety sensor. Personnel also have the option of using a wireless pull cord from within the refrigerated area. Importantly, a soft-edge door curtain automatically re-inserts if it gets knocked out as palletised loads are carried through the door.

Single cable entry plate The KEL-SCDP is icotek's latest cable entry plate.
The cable entry plate is used to insert single cables without plugs and can be sealed at a rating up to IP65. With the KEL-SCDP-RW, icotek also provides a version for use in rail technology. The KEL-SCDP has a sealing range of 5 to
36 mm. The assembly and the routing of cables are kept simple. Depending on the cable / hose diameter, the sealing grooves can be easily peeled off to the required sealing area. No knife or cutter is needed for this! The special "peeling principle" always leads to circular holes in the membrane. Another advantage is the large clamping area on which the KEL-SCDP can be mounted.
The KEL-SCDP can be mounted without tools on wall thicknesses of 1.5 to 4mm. The additional version KEL-SCDP-RW is approved for the use in the railway sector according to EN45545-2 HL3.

Reducing your carbon footprint is increasingly important these days but can be aided by using the
Klimate K2 High Speed Freezer Door on Freezer and Chilled areas. The doors will help to improve traffic flow and minimise variation in temperatures which in turn will reduce costly energy loss and therefore improve the efficiency of your freezer. In addition to this the K2 Freezer door itself is energy efficient as it only requires a 20 Amp supply.
The Klimate K2 High Speed Freezer Door is versatile as it can be installed on either the chilled,
ambient or freezer side of the opening. All Klimate doors are engineered to the highest quality with a minimum of wearing parts and the K2
is no exception. The K2 is made in the UK of heavy galvanized steel and is then powder coated providing an easily cleanable surface with maximum strength to resist impact and shocks, which are inevitable in a busy through way.
In addition to the fast operation speed other features include:
• An adjustable air defrost system which ensures the door remains ice and condensation free automatically switching off when the door is opened, reducing energy by up to 50%
• Hinged, re-settable breakaway tabs which reduce the risk of severe damage to the bottom rail in the event of impact.
• New generation, programmable diagnostic control panel with LED screen which shows the current status of the door
• Pays back on initial investment in less than two years compared to competitors doors
Characteristic of all Klimate, high-speed doors, the simplistic nature of the door means that any minimal maintenance work can be quickly and easily undertaken in-house, drastically reducing down time and callout charges.
Hardwearing, plastic re-settable end
cassettes are fitted with a monitoring switch that stops the door if it is impacted. This in-turn will require a re-set which can be undertaken without tools by onsite maintenance personnel. The switch can also be programmed to activate alarms, beacons or even send a text message or email notifying that the door has been damaged.
The location of any fault will be clearly displayed on the new generation control unit designed for high-speed doors. Any faults and stop-downs may generally then be handled in house with the support of the Klimate technical department who are on hand when the need arises to offer free guidance.
