AM LABELS LIMITED INTRODUCES NEW LABEL SERVICE FOR OKI PRINTERS

M Labels Limited (AML), a leading label printing machine specialist, label manufacturer, barcoding and software solution expert has introduced a new labels service specially for those wanting to make the most of edge-to- edge printing with OKI Pro Series label printers (Pro 1040 and Pro 1050). The AML team has produced a reliable solution for printing edge-to- edge with OKI printers. The matrix is left in place, so the print and toner can bleed over the edge. However, for this to be successful the printer needs to be able to detect a gap between the labels, which is achieved by introducing a black mark on to the back of the label material. This is not as easy as it sounds, and this project has taken a considerable amount of time and investment in a new digital label printing press. This will enable black marks to be printed more accurately compared to older technologies. This solution is now available for those looking to maximise the printing edge-to- edge on OKI Pro Series label printers.
The company offers this label service on a variety of label materials including matt and gloss paper; matt and gloss white polyester; gloss clear and gloss silver polyester. The sales team will provide a bespoke quote to meet all quantities and requirements.

The Pro1050 includes the fifth colour option. Using white as a fifth colour allows much greater flexibility in the design of your printed labels. The white can be used as a background on transparent substrates, ideal for promotional and security labels placed on glass. White can also be used to create new exceptional designs on coloured or metallised substrates which are difficult to print using other digital printing technologies. Producing labels with a white typeface on a clear or coloured background is unique for a printer of this size. You can ensure your messages come across loud and clear without impacting the cost of the label.
