KAUP Attachments make pallet handling effortless at Junction 4 Pallets TECHNOLOGY IN ACTION
From humble beginnings, Junction 4 pallets began its journey back in 1995 with a trailer at the end of a farm driveway, and a sign that said, “we buy any pallets”. Now over 30 years on, Junction 4 Pallets have built up collaborative pallet solutions across the whole of the supply chain process in the UK and Europe. The company has expanded its pallet offering to not only include new manufactured pallets from its production facility based in Doncaster, to used pallet supply, sortation and washing services, asset management, pallet accessories, specialist design software, sustainable recycling and Kiln dry / heat treatment services. The company’s Doncaster production facility houses 40,000 square feet of purpose-built pallet manufacturing facilities, alongside 100,000 square feet of storage space, and 4 purpose made pallet nailing machines, providing the capabilities to make over 80,000 pallets a week. To support the rapid growth of the company and ensure the safe handling of the substantial number of pallets the business moves daily, Junction 4 Pallets contacted B&B Attachments (B&B). B&B specialise in the design and manufacture of bespoke forklift truck attachments, providing handling solutions for customers with specific requirements, covering all industry sectors.
B&B supplied the pallet manufacturer with nine KAUP multi pallet handler attachments. The KAUP multi-pallet handler is the ideal solution for moving multiple loads at the same time, increasing forklift efficiency. KAUP’s innovative design combines stability with optimal visibility, even during heavy-duty operation. The range includes options from single/ double models, all the way up to heavy-duty four/eight models that can transport as many as eight pallets at once. “As a supplier and manufacturer of new and used wooden pallets, we have adapted to the needs of the marketplace over the years.
