Our transport and supply chain teams across Europe and the UK are working together to adapt resources as effectively as possible. We are striving to pool our trucks assigned to customers whose volumes have declined to make them available to the activities that need them most. Across the business, we work closely with our customers and partners to anticipate future volumes and be reactive in case of unforeseen events.
In the US, through May 15, and retroactive to March 1st, XPO is offering a new paid sick leave program to provide security to US employees. Under our Pandemic Paid Sick Leave, US employees can now take advantage of up to two weeks (10 days / 80 hours) of 100 per cent paid leave under a variety of circumstances. These two weeks are in addition to the standard three weeks of paid time off that all full-time employees accrue annually.

Ultimately, we reacted to a step change in volume to support the demand of essential supplies. This has resulted in XPO flexing its operational capacity by up to 100 per cent to ensure service was not compromised. In addition, our transport teams responded at very short notice to supply hospitals in the UK with essential PPE.
