Domestic Appliance Distributors (D.A.D) has added Bertazzoni to its portfolio and the full range, which incorporates high-end range cookers, built-in cooking, dishwashers, and refrigeration, is now available. The Gloucestershire-based distributor also introduce

ERT’s Turning Point Live conference goes virtual

Taking place this month (9-12 February) and reflecting the current restrictions in place across the UK, ERT’s Turning Point Live conference was made up of a series of unique online webinars. Industry experts shared their thoughts and

electrical retailers reflected on how they have adapted to changing market conditions. You can read full coverage of the conference

65-inch 4K Ultra HD LED TV with USB functionality to record digital TV and play media files, plus three HDMI inputs for external devices. The other televisions are either 32- or 24-inch HD Ready LED, some with built-in DVD players. ESG, an international homewares supply company

based in Manchester, said it had been working hard to bring out these “high-spec and keenly priced” new TVs. Adrian Gillman, Chairman of D.A.D, commented:

“The Daewoo brand has always been extremely popular in the electrical goods market. It comes as no surprise that they were well received in the first week

of announcing this news and we are receiving pre- orders already. We encourage our customers to get on board with this great new product.”

Exclusively Show 2021 rescheduled

The dates for the 2021 Exclusively Show have been moved – to 24-25 August 2021. BHETA (the British Home Enhancement Trade Association), which owns and organises the Show – comprising housewares and small electrical products for the retail industry – said this is a result of the continuing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Will Jones, Chief Operating Officer of BHETA and

Chair of Exclusively, said the health and well-being of all attendees is of paramount importance. “We consulted with our exhibitors and visitors and

there is a genuine desire for the Show to go ahead, but at the right time and in the right place,” he said. The Show was due to take place mid-June this year. Mr Jones added that the later dates provide an

opportunity for the industry to gain more confidence as the COVID vaccination programme gathers momentum, and the timing fits with the Autumn buying season. He continued: “The speed of the vaccine roll-out

has given us genuine belief that by August the UK will be back to some form of normality and our industry will be able to move forward.”
