New General Manager for Electrolux UK & Ireland


Electrolux has promoted Luke Harding to the role of General Manager UK and Ireland. Mr Harding comes into the role with a thorough understanding of the Electrolux UK and Ireland business, having held high profi le positions since joining in 2016, including Head of Kitchen Retail and Contracts and most recently Head of Electrical Retail. Mr


Harding commented: “I’m


delighted to be taking on responsibility for Electrolux UK and Ireland during such an important time for our company.

BSH Home Appliances to exhibit at KBB Birmingham 2020


BSH Home Appliances will be exhibiting at the upcoming KBB Birmingham 2020. Taking place at the NEC Birmingham,


1-4 March 2020, the show features over 400 exhibitors and welcomes more than 15,000 retailers, designers and buyers from the KBB industry. With an imposing total display area of


more than 500sq m, the Bosch, NEFF and Siemens home appliance brands will be located in Hall 17, occupying stands X130, X130 and W140. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience fi rst-hand demonstrations from BSH in a number of product categories. Each brand will bring to life surface and cavity cooking, refrigeration and


dishwashing technologies. In addition, a clear focus will be its portfolios


of wall, ceiling, cabinet and surface extraction solutions. In all product areas, the Bosch, NEFF and Siemens brands will offer their unique interpretation of how Home Connect fi ts into the wider connected home ecosystem.


Commenting on the exhibition, Simon Jones, Director Kitchen Division at BSH, said: “We are very excited to be supporting KBB Birmingham and introducing a number of new products and innovations. More signifi cantly, we’ll be unveiling product categories which are totally new to BSH – watch this space!”


BSH UK & Ireland appoints a new CEO


BSH UK and Ireland has appointed a new CEO. Gunjan Srivastava will take over at the helm from Andreas Meier in April. Mr Meier is moving to become EVP, Head of Consumer Product Division at BSH next month. Mr Srivastava has been with BSH since 2014


and has many years’ experience in the home appliances market. He joined the company as CEO and MD of BSH India where he was instrumental in building the brand portfolio and sales and customer service infrastructure in India. In July last year he became EVP and Head of Region Asia Pacifi c, after establishing the BSH India business as a leader in the region. His current role sees him running the BSH businesses across the Asia-Pacifi c


region, including India, South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand. Prior to BSH, he was Managing Director of Sennheiser Electronics India and has also held senior positions in companies such as Philips, Gillette and Wipro. Commenting on his appointment, Mr Srivastava said: “I’m delighted to be joining BSH UK and Ireland as the new CEO. It’s an exciting time to be taking over, as we look to build on the success the business has enjoyed during Andreas’ time as CEO. “Working in the European market is an exciting opportunity for me, after over


fi ve years working across the Asia Pacifi c region, and I’m looking forward to getting started in the role in April.”
