Symphony Coatings and HMG Paints extend partnership


Wickes extends CitySprint partnership with new three-year contract


Home improvement retail giant Wickes, has announced that it has signed a new three year, multi-million Pound contract with CitySprint – one of the UK’s leading same day distribution company.

manufacturer, has announced a new partnership with Symphony Coatings. The partnership will see HMG’s industrial coatings and colour matching facilities available from three additional Symphony Coating branches. The two companies have worked closely to ensure Symphony Coatings can offer the right solution for any requirement customers may have. As part of this process the Symphony Coatings technical team have completed comprehensive HMG product training in order to assist with customer enquiries. HMG Paints is a family-owned business situated in Manchester, with a broad portfolio of products including wet paint, powder coatings and aerosols, covering virtually every type of surface imaginable.

will now be available via Symphony Coatings Colchester, Symphony Coatings Thetford, and Symphony Coatings Birmingham.

Azpects Ltd ramps up restructure Azpects

Former UK Flooring Direct apprentice lands promotion


A former apprentice with a rapidly growing Midlands company has urged others to take a similar path after landing another promotion. Tom Austin joined UK Flooring Direct as a 17-year-old in 2015 when the company was based on Bayton Road Industrial Estate


and was on the verge of significant growth. Austin, who attended Nuneaton Academy School, joined the online flooring retailer as an IT and marketing apprentice. He has worked his way up the company ladder and started a role as a customer journey executive on 1 February.
