Fully kitted Aimed at professional and DIY automotive repair and maintenance jobs, there are five tools in the range: an angle grinder, impact drill, impact screwdriver, impact wrench and a bodyshop polisher. They are supplied in a kit that includes two batteries and battery charger, all housed in a sturdy toolbag, which features internal and external tool pockets, carrying handles and shoulder strap.
The ANGLE GRINDER features a compact design with comfortable grip and is supplied with a robust side handle and soft-grip body for added control. It has a spindle lock for quick disc changes and fully adjustable disc guard. Equipped with metal gears within a steel gear casing, it has an M14 spindle for use with 115mm grinding or cutting discs. The no load speed is 8,000rpm and the weight with battery is 2.2kg.
The dual-speed IMPACT DRILL is a compact design supplied with soft-grip body for added control, with a sturdy belt clip attached. It features a keyless chuck, and can be set to drill, screw or hammer-drill function. There are two speeds, selected by a switch on top of the drill, the trigger offers control from zero to the stated speed, and the drill will run in forwards or reverse. An optional High-Torque Handle is also available (part number 8074) which offers added control and accuracy when drilling high-torque applications.
The IMPACTWRENCH features a variable speed trigger and forward and reverse settings. There are three torque settings, plus a fourth setting that enables a self-stop function when used in reverse that prevents the nut or fixing spinning off and falling. There is also sturdy belt clip attached to the body of the impact wrench.
The CORDLESS POLISHER is supplied with
a robust ‘D’ shaped handle and soft-grip body for added control and spindle lock for quick polishing pad changes. It features an M14 spindle for use with 180mm (or smaller) polishing pads and adjustable speed control, from 800 – 2,400rpm. This is a beautifully balanced tool and is a pleasure to use in the professional bodyshop.

On our DIY product test bench this month we have a new range of cordless power tools that all use a common battery and are supplied in a heavy duty toolbag.
Extra power Additionally, the tools are available separately,
without batteries, as are the batteries and charger. The 230V (4 Amp) battery charger is used with the 10-cell lithium battery. Features include a diagnostic LED, plus built-in protection against overheating and overcharging and gives an average charge time of an hour that provides a typical usage time of approximately 40min – 115min, depending on tool and application. The useful heavy-duty toolbag is also available separately under part number 7846. Cordless power is fast becoming the preferred choice over mains and pneumatic, bringing extra safety to the workshop environment, and all the tools in the new range come with an extended three-year warranty.
