Wax Lyrical, Price’s Candles and Stone Glow Candles will also display their wares in this category. Lesser & Pavey, the company specialising in quality gift-related products from fashion accessories and bags to home accessories and occasion gifts, will also be present. While, catering specifically for the independent retailers, is Joe Davies. The company’s own exclusively branded Shudehill Collection is hugely popular, with top-selling brands including snoozies!, Equilibrium, Rose & Co, Widdop and Co and Poo-Pourri.

Presenting industry awards The seventh edition of the annual DIY Week Awards, organised by Datateam, will be run in partnership with Spring Fair 2017. The awards are designed to

Spring Fair provides the perfect platform for the awards and the ceremony will take place at The National Motorcycle Museum following the event on Tuesday, February 7. Other awards taking place during the show include the Housewares Innovation Awards on Monday, February 6 and the The Gift of the Year Awards, which will be announced on Sunday, February 5.


Speakers and experts A total of 11 speakers, all experts in their own fields from company’s including Not on the High Street, eBay, Pinterest and Google will be on hand to impart their learnings taken from years of experience in retail. Covering aspects from SEO and achieving scale online to in-store design and achieving good traction on social media, visitors can book a free 15-minute appointment with an expert of their choice. These Meet the Expert sessions will include new masterclasses from the interior design expert Martin Holland on store design. Independent retailers will be able to book one-on-one sessions with industry leaders and ask for advice on any challenges they’re currently facing.

Baroness Karren Brady CBE will be delivering her keynote speech on Tuesday, February 7. One of the UK’s most influential and respected business leaders, Lady Brady has a wealth of experience. Currently responsible for running West Ham United Football Club, she also holds high profile roles at Syco Entertainment and Taveta Investments – the owner of Arcadia. Having received a CBE for her services to business, entrepreneurship and women in business, and excelled in her role as Sir Alan Sugar’s right hand-women in TV show The Apprentice, Lady Brady is well placed to offer the UK’s independent retailers guidance on building their businesses.
