1. Leisure launches Nimbus Leisure Sinks’ new Nimbus sink collection features two models, each made from 0.8 gauge, 18/10 stainless steel with a highly polished finish. Available in single and 1.5-bowl options, the new sinks feature a contemporary sunburst drainer design. The single-bowl model (NIM1051) measures 1000 x 500mm overall and has a deep bowl size of 465 x 415 x 215mm, a reversible drainer and can be used with the WKIT09 waste kit, sold separately. The 1.5-bowl model (NIM1052) shares the same overall dimensions, with the bowls measuring 350 x 415 x 190mm and 160 x 285 x 120mm respectively. This sink can have a left- or right-handed drainer.

2. Fernox in smaller sizes
Fernox has expanded its range of chemical products with the launch of the new, smaller volume 265ml Protector F1 and Cleaner F3. Just one bottle will treat the heating system of an average sized UK home, cleaning and protecting up to 100 litres of system water, 12 radiators or 190sqm of underfloor heating. Fernox 265ml Protector F1 and Cleaner F3 are supported with a countertop point of sale display to help raise awareness of the products and drive sales.

3. Imperial rolls out branded bricks Imperial Bricks is introducing a crown stamp to the ‘frog’ indentation of its bricks throughout 2021/22 so that customers can identify genuine Imperial products. Some of the first products to carry the stamp are the Imperial Blend, Country Blend, Farmhouse Orange, OIde Reclamation Clamp, Reclamation Shire Blend, Urban Weathered and Tudor Multi. The company will be rolling this out across the entire brick portfolio over the next year.

Rustins is launching a new Grey colour to the Advanced Wood Preserver range, which is already available in Clear, Medium Brown, Dark Brown and Green. Rustins Advanced Wood Preserver is water based and therefore low odour and non-flammable. It works on nanotechnology that gives deep penetration into the wood, allowing you to re-coat whilst the wood is damp. Its performance is much greater than standard wood preservation products and gives long lasting protection against dry rot, wet rot, fungi, wood boring insects and their larvae.

7. Makita adds 12v to site range Makita has added two 12Vmax CXT multi-line lasers to its extensive range of site equipment. The multi-line lasers project one horizontal and two vertical 360° lines and include a precise self-levelling feature to enable simple setup, layout and alignment. The 12Vmax CXT Red Multi-Line Laser (SK700DZ) and 12Vmax CXT Green Multi-Line Laser (SK700GDZ) are versatile and durable with a range of features to make work on site as simple as possible. The Red Multi-Line Laser has a range of 25 metres in each direction (50 m diameter) while the green lasers of the SK700GDZ provide an increased range of 35m (70m diameter) and better line visibility in brighter conditions.
