Bathroom specialist Aqualisa announced Lumi+: its new series of electric showers, with A rating for energy and effiency. Available in three power options (8.5kW, 9.5kW or 10.5kW), the Lumi+ electric shower features a mirrored fascia that reflects light to enhance and brighten any bathroom environment, and two brushed-chrome dials to control power and temperature. It also has a 105mm Harmony handset with adjustable head that delivers five spray modes. 4. Illbruck UK launches building façade protection range
Illbruck UK has launched its “game changing” building façade protection range, it includes six fire rated membranes. It ensures that buildings across the UK are protected to the highest of standards, verified fire classification to BS EN 13501-1, as well as offering weather protection.
Illbruck’s, FR Breather Membrane (WHITE), a non-combustible and highly vapour permeable breather membrane which is A1 in accordance to EN 13501-1 and water resistant to class W2 in accordance with EN 13859-2.
2. Makita brings the heat with its new heated base layer
Makita has introduced two new heated base layers to its range of job site apparel, powered either with Makita’s 18V LXT battery or the 12Vmax CXT battery.
With four dedicated heat zones, front waist, both forearms and back, for optimum heat distribution and three heat settings to adjust to changing weather conditions, it provides warmth for up to 33 hours.
They are made from elasticated fabric to allow unrestricted movement, are machine washable and have a simple switch on/off button that is easily accessible at the front. The unisex DCX200 and DCX201 heated base layer shirts are available in a range of sizes, from XS to 3XL and join a growing line up of heated jackets and vests.
