7. Visqueen’s AVCL system Visqueen’s air and vapour control layer system combines strength, flexibility and easy installation while exceeding current national fire safety regulations. The complete AVCL system, including fixing and jointing tapes, achieves fire classification Class B – s1, d0 to EN 13501-1:2018 as well as zero air leakage to BS EN 1026:2016.
Semi-transparent for ease of installation and orange tinted for ease of recognition, the new AVCL is a fire-resistant polyethylene for use in all buildings including residential over 18m high where an AVCL is required within the floor, wall and roof constructions. The 0.125mm thick (500 gauge) AVCL is available in convenient centre-folded rolls of 2.45 metres x 50 metres and multi-folded rolls of 4 metres x 50 metres. The 2.45-metre-wide rolls are ideal for wall applications enabling easier transportation and rapid installation, reducing the need for horizontal lap joints.

11. Euroform’s Versapanel used in Worcester scheme The A2
Versapanel is a cement bonded
particle board that can be used as an SFS sheathing board, it will be used in the
Worcester regeneration which is a part of the Sherriff’s Gate scheme.
The board has a density of 1560 kg/ m3 and provides a high mass exterior lining, and complies with Approved Document E, which means it is resistant to sound. It combines the benefits of traditional cement bonded particle boards with A2 Reaction to Fire, according to EN 13501-1, making it a material of limited combustibility and meets the requirements of Approved Document B, which is the fire regulations for tall buildings. A range of systems may be applied over A2 Versapanel such as; approved insulated render systems, terracotta cladding systems, high performance cladding systems and traditional brick coursework.
