Shining a spotlight on women in HVACR


O


n our news pages this month we have highlighted Global HVACR Women Week, from 25–31 October 2026 providing a shared international focal point for activities created by groups,


organisations or individuals around the world. It’s an event that is encouraging everyone to go beyond their usual


circles by connecting with other groups, areas, or generations whether they are local or international. Steve Gill, the initiator of the Global HVACR Women Week says this is about “building a community that lasts beyond one week” and connecting people and groups across the globe. It’s not aimed solely at women’s groups and calls for everyone across


the HVACR community to get involved to allow space to hear voices who would not normally be heard. There are plenty of ways to get involved so turn to pg 6 to find out how. Another upcoming event that recognises some of the best


achievements by women in the industry is the HVR Awards which is proud to present the ever-popular HVAC Woman of the Year Award. Find out more on pg 12. Also in this issue is the Commercial Boiler Guide from pg17.
