The HVR Awards 2026: the fi nal countdown begins
Judging for The HVR Awards 2026 is now completed, and anticipation is building fast as the industry gears up for one of the biggest nights in the calendar. This year’s event returns to the Riverbank Park Plaza on October 1 and promises to be an evening of celebration, recognition, and top-tier entertainment

aking centre stage as host is stand-up supremo Jimmy McGhie who has a career spanning global stages and appearances across the BBC, Channel 4, Comedy Central and beyond. Known for his razor-sharp wit
and eff ortless crowd work, Jimmy has performed at leading festivals worldwide including the Edinburgh Fringe and Melbourne International Comedy Festival. He remains one of the UK’s most in-demand circuit comedians, corporate hosts, and TV warm-up acts. Adding an extra touch of prestige to the evening will be Roger Tilling –
the voice behind BBC2’s University Challenge, as well as The Royal Variety Performance, and scores of other shows and documentaries. Roger will help guide the evening’s proceedings, ensuring a smooth, engaging and memorable experience for all in attendance. HVR editor Heather Ramsden said: “There has been genuine interest in the
HVR Awards this year and we are looking forward to another fantastic event on October 1. Make sure you book your tickets as this is one you don’t want to miss.” This year’s judging panel has assessed entries across three sections – Products, Projects & Initiatives and Team & Individual Achievements ensuring recognition for the best products as well as the outstanding individuals and teams driving the industry forward. With a high calibre of entries, judges have faced a tough challenge.
The scale of innovation and depth of talent on display made selecting winners no easy task—but thanks to the expertise and dedication of the panel, the very best have risen to the top. This year, the following experts joined the judging panel:

Lifetime Achievement Accolade
