The essential tool for every Hive installer
As a busy installer, you’ll know the importance of having the right tool to hand. When you’re always moving from one job to the next, the right tool can help save you time, avoid hassle and get things done right the fi rst time. That’s exactly why the Hive Installer Club app was created. Designed specifi cally for professional installers, the app makes installing Hive thermostats quicker, easier and more rewarding.
I
t provides step-by-step instructions for installations, plus rewards for every install and access to a VIP support line. And since launching in October 2025, the Hive Installer Club has grown to more than 12,000 members. “The app was built with one objective in mind:
to make installing Hive products as simple as possible,” says Gav Murray, Hive Installer Club Director. “We spent time understanding the challenges installers face on the job and designed the app to remove friction from the installation process.”
Complete the setup in your app – no more waiting around
One of the app’s biggest time-savers is the ability to complete a Hive installation using your own phone. Previously you needed to use the customer’s phone to complete parts of the setup, adding time and inconvenience to the job. But with the Hive Installer Club app, you can do
everything directly from your own phone. So there’s no more waiting around for customers to be free – and no more awkwardly using someone else’s phone. It’s less hassle for everyone.
Support every step of the way
The app also provides a step-by-step installation journey. So rather than relying on paper guides, product manuals or searching online, you’re guided through every stage of a Hive thermostat installation.
Boiler wiring diagrams are available through the
app too, helping you identify the correct setup while on site.
If an issue does arise, support is close at hand
with access to a VIP support line through the app. It all helps you get the job done as quickly and smoothly as possible.
Better connection, better job
Another valuable feature is the ability to check device connectivity during installation. The app shows the strength of the connection between devices, helping you confi rm everything is communicating as

expected before leaving the property. This helps ensure the jobs done right fi rst time
and prevents avoidable customer callbacks, saving time and frustration for you and your customer.
Get rewarded for every install
The Hive Installer Club isn’t just about making installations easier. It also makes them more rewarding.
Qualifying installations earn rewards, allowing members to turn everyday work into something extra. Plus, there are exclusive member benefi ts,
promotions and competitions. “We’re incredibly proud of how quickly the
community has grown,” says Gav Murray. “Installers want tools that help them work smarter, and that’s exactly what the app delivers.”
