SMITH BROTHERS
Smith Brothers have achieved the silver Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) accreditation for the fourth year running since upgrading from bronze.
SBS has held the accreditation for seven years. The award is granted to our wide fleet of vehicles and all the vehicles hold the status.
Smith Brothers fleet is constantly
increasing as nine vehicles have been added in just the last year. This takes the total number of vehicles to 84 that service the 15-depot network.
This award has the greatest impact on the staff as they must gain the required knowledge and skills to meet standards, which are focused around improving road safety, reducing the risk of collisions and vulnerable road users.

MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC
Mitsubishi Electric’S M Series range of air conditioning units from has grown with the introduction of its new MFZ-KT range of R32 floor mounted systems.
The MFZ-KT range comes with three shaped vanes for optimum air distribution and an auto swing vane function provides more natural
and comfortable airflow throughout the room. With a built in seven-day timeclock users can also control their system more effectively, helping to increase energy saving.
The new range is available in 2.5kW, 3.5kW and 5.0kW capacities and its lightweight and compact design makes installation easy. Connection to R32 MXZ multi-split outdoor units is also possible where multiple indoor units are required.

The unvented stainless-steel cylinders from Advance Appliances provide main pressure hot water. They feature a patented device that creates a self- sustaining air gap, so there is no need to pump up an expansion vessel every year.
APPLIANCES
They are fitted with a pre-plumbed pre-wired S plan arrangement with two heating zones and offers full three bar pressure. Clear installation instructions are provided.
The units are WRAS approved and come fitted with G3 unvented kit and all essential components, including an A rated pump.
Two sizes are available, one for single bathroom properties and one for twin bathroom properties. All units have a fitted 3kW immersion heater as well as an adjustable control thermostat.

Reznor, part of Nortek Global HVAC (UK) continues its tradition of manufacturing high efficiency heating equipment, which includes the highly efficient UDSA heating unit.
The UDSA units are a technically advanced range of gas fired unit heaters designed to deliver energy, efficiency, performance and economy for reduced operating and life cycle costs.
The heat exchanger achieves 92% (ncv) thermal efficiency reducing energy and consumption and running costs.
UDSA units are fitted with a high airflow axial fan for free-blowing applications with model heat outputs ranging from 11kW – 146kW. All units are available for natural gas (g20) as standard but alternatively can be specified for use on Propane (G31).
