New Marmox website connects across construction industry
W
ell known for both product innovation and its responsive customer support, Marmox UK Ltd launched its revamped website on June 3rd to further enhance its offering to the market: covering contractors, specifiers, homeowners and merchants, within a super-fast and well-designed site that puts information and system solutions at users’ fingertips.
The easy to navigate site encompasses the entire Marmox range, from its earliest success stories like the very versatile Multiboard to its selection of shower trays and other wetroom solutions, through to its unique answer on cold bridging across the building envelope – Thermoblock – and more recent launches such as Slicedstone and the rock mineral wool cored Fireboard. All are explained in detail, as well as being offered up in response to the requirements and project specific challenges of users. In addition to being able to download product data sheets and installation instructions on the diverse range, the new website incorporates a more proactive filter on the Specification page, making it easier for users to quickly find and download the exact specification they are after.
Importantly, users will be able to read news stories and explore the new Learning Hub, while additional features will be added in the weeks and months ahead.
The site will include all of our latest news, product developments, project stories and further down the line interactive CPD videos and a stockist locator will be added.

Ideal Heating extends Evojet pressure jet boiler range to 3000kW output
I
deal Heating – Commercial Products has announced the addition of four new models to its Evojet pressure jet boilers, extending the range output up to 3000kW. This brings the range up to 14 boilers, all of which offer high efficiency through their condensing operation and modulation capabilities of the burners.
The new floor standing condensing Evojet 3-pass pressure jet boilers are available with outputs of 1750kW, 2100kW, 2600kW and 3000kW for applications requiring either single or multiple boiler configurations. They are ideally suited to large public utility buildings, where they can provide a space saving alternative to larger cascades comprising smaller capacity boilers.
These latest Evojet pressure jet boilers feature a double return condensing system (connections for high or low temperature return water) which enables them to keep the temperature difference between the heat exchanger wall and the return water high, thus maximising the formation of condensation. This, combined with the 3-pass layout, the titanium stabilised stainless steel internal components and extensive insulation, combine to provide a high level of efficiency and reliability. The new Evojet boilers are suited to use with multiple burner types for maximum flexibility, and modulation of the burner can be provided via 0-10 volt BMS or RWF controller. A two year warranty comes as standard on all Evojet models.

Gilberts elevates the standard in ventilation @ Nine Elms
A
brownfield industrial site along the banks of the River Thames is going from “rags to riches”, where even the background detail of ventilation is being given a high-end finish.
One of London’s biggest regeneration projects, Nine Elms is being completely transformed into a new mixed-use area, including the addition of 20,000 homes. One of the latest structures being delivered is Building N6, a 19-storey premium residential block.
To achieve the high-end finish, Gilberts’ grilles and diffusers, supplied via DBA Air Solutions have been installed throughout all the apartments by ESG (Essex Service Group). A combination of Gilberts HSL high-capacity slot diffusers and LN linear bar grilles ensure efficient supply and extract of ventilation in bedrooms, and open plan living spaces and kitchens for the central MVHR and 10no fan coil four-pipe heating & cooling systems, with the strategy validated by BIM.
The HSL diffusers deliver high capacity- up to 150l/s/m- of smooth, accurate airflow which makes them particularly suitable for integration into a fan coil strategy. With the multi-function LN grilles, which can attain up to 77% free ventilation area, the directional bars are manufactured level with the surrounding flange. “The ethos behind the whole development is to create an outstanding living experience,” explained DBA’s Andy Lock. “Quality is therefore a fundamental, hence the specification and installation of Gilberts’ air movement components.”

Hamworthy Heating introduces high temperature heat pump range with natural refrigerant
H
amworthy Heating has launched the Tyneham 290HT commercial heat pump range with natural refrigerant, designed to achieve high flow temperatures of up to 75°C whilst benefiting from a low GWP of three. Building on the success of its Tyneham heat pump range, the new 290HT offers a co-efficiency of performance (COP) of up to 4.94 for optimum efficiency. To further enhance performance, the range also features an inverter-controlled compressor that can control the building temperature based on specific requirements of space.
Quiet in operation, with noise levels as low as 64db(A), the latest addition to the Tyneham range has been specifically designed for use in commercial buildings. Available in five outputs from 15kW through to 50kW, the Tyneham 290HT can be cascaded to achieve higher outputs and also combined with alternative Hamworthy Heating products to achieve a low-carbon hybrid heating system. Furthermore, with the ability to achieve higher flow temperatures without additional backup, the new heat pump is also a perfect fit for a range of Domestic Hot Water (DHW) applications. The new Tyneham 290HT is supplied with a five-year warranty when commissioned by Hamworthy Heating. Backed by a dedicated and friendly team, Hamworthy also offers a range of training courses and technical support to ensure you get the most out of your products
