Qvantum appoints Nilsson as Chairperson of the Board
S
weden-based energy-tech manufacturer Qvantum Industries has appointed
industrial heavyweight Peter Nilsson as Chairperson of its Board of Directors, following the company’s Annual General Meeting on 8 June. The move comes as Qvantum
accelerates its European expansion, scales production and builds on a year of major milestones. The business has secured commercial breakthroughs in the multi-family housing sector across several European markets, launched its QG heat pump, and begun production
at its newly acquired Hungarian factory, formerly operated by Electrolux. Qvantum also recently won the BloombergNEF Pioneers Award 2026 in the ‘Flattening the Duck Curve’ category, recognising its contribution to grid-stabilising energy technologies. Nilsson brings extensive
experience in large-scale European manufacturing and industrial transformation. His career includes more than two decades as Senior Industrial Advisor to private equity fi rm EQT, as well as leading the turnaround of Sanitec as CEO.

ACAIR has expanded its Technical Services team with the appointment of Scott
McWilliams, an experienced air conditioning engineer with more than 21 years in the sector. McWilliams began his career as
an apprentice at 19 and has since worked across a wide range of air conditioning systems, developing particular expertise in diagnostics and fault-fi nding. “I really enjoy it. I take pride in getting to the root of issues and keeping systems running effi ciently,” he said.
His training includes multiple
manufacturer modules covering City Multi installation, commissioning, servicing and fault-fi nding, along with Maintenance Tool and the latest suite of centralised controllers. Away from work, McWilliams is a busy parent and fi ts in a round of golf when time allows.
PACAIR said the appointment
strengthens its commitment to delivering added value through its established Technical Services team and looks forward to introducing McWilliams to its clients.
