Rotary Converting Equipment

Precision and Innovative Smart Roll-to-Roll Technology for Flexible Materials Converting Dorey Converting Systems machines are designed and engineered to meet the most demanding requirements of your Converting business

DOREY, AN INNOVATIVE COMPANY

Dorey company was founded in 1943 and is based near Grenoble. The company specializes in the design of machines for cutting, laminating, welding and sewing flexible materials. Dorey is a company that has adapted to the major changes in the industry: the use of plastics and the needs of manufacturers for welding, laminating and die-cutting, as well as mass production thanks to the rotary process innovation. Dorey has been ISO 9001 certified since 2023.

The Dorey Converting Systems (DCS) division was established at the time of the boom in the mobile phone industry. The need for high-volume, reliable rotary processes capable of producing parts with high-precision lamination, cutting and integrating inspection system to ensure 100% good parts.

Over the last decades, Dorey Converting Systems has built a solid reputation among European flexible materials Converters for designing and installing reliable tailor-made rotary processes.

HOW DOES DOREY CONVERTING SYSTEMS TECHNOLOGY FIT IN WITH CONVERTERS’ STRATEGY?

Major roll-flexible materials include fabric, foam, paper, film, rubber, adhesive and thin metal.

Converter is a specialist converter of flexible materials. It has developed expertise in the management of the conversion process of these flexible materials, often in roll form, right through to the finished part.

From simple applications such as cutting a single layer of material to the most complex applications involving multiple layers of material, Converters regularly invest in state-of-the-art equipment to meet its customers’ specifications.

DCS technology enhances converters’ converting lines and opens the door to new markets (Electronics, E-Mobility, Medical etc.), such as high-value multi-layer products, which are much more profitable than traditional die-cut products.
