Colombier continues its growth throughout 2024


Colombier UK have seen considerable growth in our packaging paper sales side of the business over the last 12 months, despite market headwinds as a result of rising costs and reduced overall customer demand.

olombier UK believe this is largely the result of the consistent quality of material and fast turnaround times it off ers its customers.


Richard Bradford, Colombier UK’s packaging sales executive, says “Our growth in customer base to over 100 customers has been spread across a wide range of end-use applications, mainly bag manufacturers, envelope manufacturers,


corrugators, tube winders and specialist packaging producers to name a few. We are on track to sell over 4,000 tonnes of packaging papers this year, increasing volumes from the previous year, despite a drop in demand from existing customers due to the overall economic conditions.” The installation of our Coiler/Rewinder in Spring 2021 coincided with our transition away from Graphical papers onto Packaging Papers,


and both own sales and conversion sales of coiling have gone from strength to strength ever since. Assistant Managing Director Ryan Langworthy commented ‘We have coupled our conversion capabilities with the established relationships we have with packaging paper mills both in the UK and across Europe and beyond and used this as the foundation on which to build up our customer base of bespoke,
