marketing themselves next year, and are intending to attend several industry trade shows including ICE Munich as well as less known, more niche events, such as Tire Technology Hanovre, Plast Milan and Index Geneve.
SPECIAL SERVICES Though they are most well know for winding and rewinding machines, Mondon actually offer many services and some of these include printing and coating, perforating and cutting to a specific length, welding needs, folding, pulling, inspecting and spooling. The company also focuses on packaging
European Union and feel strongly that Brexit will have little or no impact. The company is understandably proud of the range of its client list, producing products for all sorts of sectors, from huge powerhouses to small start-ups. With the average price of converting machines increasing from EURO 37,000 in 1999, to EURO 7,000,000 in 2018, Mondon chose their latest technologies and additions to the warehouse with careful consideration. Mondon works with international machines and equipments manufacturers.
PROPRIETARY TECHNOLOGY To future proof and protect the company, some of Mondon’s technology has been patented. Competition in this industry is stiff and Mondon want to protect their solutions. The company is proud of their reputation for quality, and their bespoke approach to customer solutions. In fact, new business has come from word of mouth and from the recommendation of previous clients. Mondon are always looking to the next big trend in technology, or the
latest opportunity for growth. As such, the company has also invested in some artificial intelligence and robotic technology. The company has managed to strike a good balance between the best technology to improve efficiency and time, and reduce errors that could cause risk to any employees. They have also, crucially, recognised the value of people and the benefits choosing a talented team.
GRAND OPENING With delicious local food and wine, the inaugural event was exquisite. Firstly, the President and other directors introduced the new facilities and laid out their plans for the future of the company, commending all the hard work completed so far. Then, with a cut of a big red ribbon, the
warehouse space was officially opened for business. It was a fantastic turnout for the evening event, with over 250 members of the industry present to congratulate and celebrate. Conversations were dominated by sustainability and cost-effective measures in industry. All Mondon staff were enthused about the extension and the company, too.
