Phat Self Serve vending offer
T
he Phat Pasty Company have developed a range of heat-in- pack savouries for the vending arena that are displayed in their unique 100% biodegradable packaging and reheated without opening the pack. Supplied to operators as a Phat branded frozen, baked, wrapped
range, they are simply de-frosted, marked with a 10 day chilled shelf life and placed in a chilled vending unit.

Phat Controller, ‘’ We have developed our range to give the highest quality to our customers for a microwavable offer. Using a unique 100% breathable paper-based packaging, this allows our savoury pastry items to be heated in a microwave or rapid
cook oven, allowing the steam to escape and therefore ensuring the pastry doesn’t sweat and become soggy’’. The packaging allows a customer to microwave products, without opening the packs, in under 2 minutes, with an option to use the barcode to scan, heat and eat direct from the pack. The range is all made using British Farm Assured meats and there
are vegetarian and halal options in the range to provide a great choice for customers. Phat have developed a self-serve vending offer that allows for a simple operation by a customer via a scan-heat microwave, with the option to add a smart fridge and card payment system if required.
