Held on Thursday, June 6th at The Steel Yard in London, The Smart Retail Solutions Group hosted hundreds of guests at their fourth annual, Out of Home Summer Gala. Attendees networked and enjoyed coffee from
Smart Retail Solutions Group partner Coffetek before taking their seats for an industry overview and future look at what automated retail offers from IGD’s eating out insights manager Nicola Knight. The keynote address was delivered by Jim Brinton, founder, chief executive and chairman of Avanti Markets and Evergreen Refreshments, who flew in for the event from Seattle, Washington USA. The Summer Gala focused on showcasing the
latest innovations in automated retail solutions, with The Smart Retail Solutions Group revealing their 2024 offering to guests in a dramatic curtain drop style. The 2024 package proved popular with attendees as they got an exclusive first look at new kit, technology and prices being made available from The Smart Retail Solutions Group. The Out of Home Summer Gala attendees then embarked on the annual highlight with a sail around The Thames onboard The Dutch Master before returning to The Steel Yard for further networking and live music under the arches. The gala was organised by Smart Retail Solutions member companies comprising 365 Retail Markets, nebrak, Britvic, Coffetek, Kepak and Pepsico. Carl Hunter, automated retail & new business
controller at Kepak Group, said this year’s gala was the most successful one yet. “The feedback we’ve had from this year’s event has been great. Guests from all corners of the industry gathered for not only a day of business development and insights from the very best in the sector, but it also enabled attendees to network with like-minded colleagues to explore opportunities and discuss tailored solutions which will meet specific business or client needs. We’re already on with planning next year’s Gala,” he commented.
