Suzohapp receives the Innovation Award for cash recycling technology at ATMIA Conference
At the recent ATM and Cash Innovation Conference in London, Suzohapp took home the Silver Innovation Award for its innovative Cash Recycling Technology, thanks to Scan Coin Solutions. Walter ter Rahe, vice
president of sales banking EMEA, said: “We are honoured to
receive this prestigious award as recognition of our ongoing dedication and commitment to the industry.” Jim Anderson, managing director of Scan Coin UK, said: “This
award is an amazing achievement for us. We are always focused on bringing innovations to the industry and our Recycling Cash Solutions ensure a quick return on investment through improved cash management.” At the event, a selection of Scan Coin cash processing solutions
and their sophisticated software platform were displayed. The biggest highlight was the innovative CDS-9R, the world’s first self- service coin recycler for public environments, which offers the most secure and effective way to handle cash transactions, removing the need for costly coin roll dispensers and separate coin deposit machines. Mr ter Rahe concluded: “The CDS9-R transforms customers’ coin
handling into a completely automated process and minimises costs to the banks. Thanks to our new solution, you can take control of your cash through an efficient cash cycle in all areas of your business, from internal cash handling to CIT operations.”
Refreshment Systems team
tackle 50 miles in 50th year On July 28, 14 members of staff from the Bradford based company Refreshment Systems tackled a 50 mile walk from Burnley to Apperley Bridge in celebration of the company’s 50th anniversary. The walk was not only a way to celebrate Refreshment Systems’
50th year but was also a chance to raise £2,000 for Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice, based in Oxenhope. The team made a pit stop half way in Skipton to refuel and rest
before completing the final stretch to Apperley Bridge. Community fundraiser Harriet Wood said: “I think this is a fantastic
way to celebrate such a great milestone and the fact that they are giving something back to the community is wonderful. “From everyone at Manorlands we want to say a very big thank
you for your help and commitment to our local cause – it means a great deal to so many people in our care.”

H2O to expand into Europe
On a recent visit to South Korea it was agreed that H2O will expand its sales operations into European markets. H2O managing director, Jim Redford, visited the country to discuss new products,
market strategy and future developments with partner companies Microfilter and MCM. He said: “With both Microfilter and MCM now manufacturing some of the highest
quality products in the world and developing an ever increasing product range, it makes sense for H2O Direct to move forwards with plans to expand into Europe. “We have extensive knowledge of what customers want in these areas and also have
the ability to send products around Europe quickly and easily. We are extremely privileged to be given this opportunity as our partners recognise our established capability and proven success record in the UK.” This new expansion for H2O Direct comes at a time where new products and range
extensions are being released to the market to keep up with the demand for higher capacity filters, details of which will be released very soon.
