We spoke to a number of D.A.D customers to hear what it means for them and their business to be part of the successful distributor

ur family-run business has been trading with D.A.D since the company fi rst formed.
Throughout the last 30 years, both companies have expanded and thrived, developing a strong and close working relationship through our shared values and morals.
In 2010, D.A.D expanded, moving into
larger premises to help the company to continue to expand building on the strong foundations that they had built. From the date of this move, this allowed D.A.D to reach ‘to another level’ becoming the leading independent appliance distributor in the UK. It offers a full package service. have dealt with D.A.D since 1995, when I fi rst started Abbey Appliances. Back then, D.A.D had only been in business a few years but was already established as a key distributor in the industry. It was apparent from very early on that it was keen to help its independent customers thrive and I have always felt that our businesses have grown together over the years because of this. As a female appliance business owner
in the late 1990s I initially faced some challenges trying to establish myself amongst my peers and have always been thankful to the D.A.D family and staff for treating me as an equal from the start, and for being so supportive and encouraging of my business. In more recent years, and especially

during the pandemic, D.A.D has been the most consistent supplier and have always kept in regular contact to ensure we have everything we need – its support at such an unsettling time was invaluable and I am sure they helped many other independent stores navigate their way through the pandemic.
