when choosing MDAs, noise is a factor that everyone can relate to. Since the advent of open-plan kitchen-living rooms, we have become increasingly aware of the noise level of kitchen appliances. Sophie Lane, product training manager at

Mark’s vision of creating a quieter, healthier, environment for the next generation. From product labelling online and in-store, to rigorous acoustic design and engineering.” Anyone who has tried to watch TV while the washing machine is running can attest to the noise appliances can make. Lucy Bye, group marketing manager at Bosch Home Appliances, says: “This awareness has only been reinforced as we have spent more time at home in the past few years, first during the pandemic and now with increased levels of hybrid working.”

Data from Answer the Public has revealed this consumer trend has persisted with recent search trends relating to ‘washing machine’ including “which washing machine is quietest?” and “why is the washing machine so loud?”
