ealising that a lot of independent retailers run out of space when it comes to AV furniture, accessories
and AV furniture supplier Techlink has adapted its popular Panorama range. The new models feature different colour finishes on the top and bottom surfaces, resulting in two looks from the same stand. These are available in two combinations –
Walnut and Black Oak and Light Oak and Grey Oak and come in two sizes – for screens up to 60in and 80in. Techlink head of sales Neil Drain comments: “Space is at a premium in a lot of stores because TVs have become so large and are taking up so much display space - as a result displays of high margin stands have been reduced or in some cases removed. “Our design team thought this was
a crazy situation so they developed a new look Panorama stand featuring two different finishes on the same product and our customers love the new stands. This is really what makes Techlink stand out against its competitors. We have in-house ability to redesign products to make life easier for our customers.” Neil adds: “From the initial reaction we think
we are definitely on to a winner not least as it involves the retailer having less stock, which
is bound to be good news for stores where space is at a premium. And in the consumer’s case, they have a two-in one stand to change the look when they wish.” Techlink has also relaunched its Edge TV stand with a new black oak finish version. Finally, the last new model is the Calibre+ - a wood-made budget stand due in for the peak season retailing at under £100 and available in two colours. Techlink’s large range of brackets have also
undergone an extensive review ahead of the peak season with all flat to wall and tilting models set to incorporate a ‘Fitters Mate’ keyhole feature making one man installation more straightforward and much quicker, the company says. Techlink products cover the majority of
screen sizes right up to the most popular large screens, with their TWM601 model suitable for screens up to 100in. The company’s extensive mounting range also includes solutions for table top mounting, with two Pedestal Mounts – TTM601 and TTM602 for screens up to 65in plus a ceiling mount – TCM802 – for screens up to 70in. Also within the ceiling section there are two Projector Mounts – the TPM 103 and 203. Ahead of the Christmas market, Techlink also offers a range of potential stocking fillers in

the shape of recharge products for power on the go.
Neil notes: “This has become a major
category in the consumer electronics accessory market, driven by the amount of devices in the household and limited power options when on the go. Be it business or holiday we all need additional power for our phones, tablets, cameras and wearable technology products.” The Recharge range from Techlink offers the consumer charging devices from entry- level, easy to use pocket power chargers from £9.95 SRP, to the Ultrathin range, offering what the company says is the slimmest phone chargers ever, with a minimum depth of only 7mm. Able to connect to charge a phone while it is in use, prices in the Ultrathin range start from £29.95. Neil comments: “Many retailers are missing
a real trick not stocking power products. Most consumers coming into their stores require these products and will be buying them somewhere, so why not when in their store. “One real advantage is that the products

take up a very small footprint in store and the margin on offer is significant.” It’s a market that is going to grow and grow, Neil adds: “As participation in outdoor leisure activities like concerts, cycling, fishing and hiking grows, so too will the requirement for more power on the go.”
