The Easy9 range of protection devices is built on a legacy of market leading circuit protection systems. The latest edition to the family aids compliance with BS 7671:2018+A2:2022. The multifunction Arc Fault Detection Device (AFDD) provides increased safety by incorporating the following functions in one single device:
• Overload • Short-circuit (B and C Curves) • Earth leakage (Type A (SI)) • Overvoltage (to protect the device) • Self-diagnostic (device health check) • Arc fault detection (disconnect in the event of dangerous arcs)
In an era where electricity is becoming the only power source to help combat global warming and drive towards Net Zero, it is important that connected systems and equipment are adequately protected as well as those using them.
