Some of these newagents started to buy and sell product, negating the need fofor a wholesale distributor at all. Leftft unchallenged, actions like these have a long termimpact on the rest of the UK's establishedmanufafacturers' agents. As a result, at a recent EDA seminar in Cheshire,

we explored the possibility of NESA seeking affiliate status. In essence, thiswould‘close the loop’ - if LCA acts on behalf of EDA Affiliated Manufafacturers, supplying to EDAmemberswith a NESA EDA Accreditation,we bring together all three components of the supply chain.
