CEF announces charity partnership with WellChild


C


ity Electrical Factors (CEF)’s new charity partnership with WellChild will help children with complex medical needs thrive


at home.


CEF will support families across the UK through fundraising, awareness activity and volunteering, including support for essential home and garden transformations delivered through WellChild’s Helping Hands programme. As part of the Helping Hands programme, CEF will take part in a number of projects, transforming outdoor spaces into safe, accessible areas where children and their families can enjoy the outdoors together. For CEF, the partnership refl ects a wider commitment to supporting the communities it serves, with a focus on practical action that makes a real diff erence to everyday lives.


CEF team members across the business will also raise funds to support wider WellChild programmes, which work to empower parents and carers with the confi dence to meet the complex care needs of their children.

EDA training modules retain City & Guilds Accreditation

or the eighth year in a row, the Electrical Distributors’ Association (EDA) has successfully retained City & Guilds Accredited Programme status for its 12 Product Knowledge Modules. The annual City & Guilds assessment praised the programme’s delivery model as “accessible, adaptable and clearly communicated”, highlighting its “systematic and well-documented approach” to maintaining quality and consistency.


Salim Visram, industry manager at City & Guilds, said: “The Product Knowledge Modules demonstrate a clear focus on meeting the needs of the electrical wholesale sector, with a structured and accessible approach that supports learners at all stages of their careers. It is particularly encouraging to see how the programme continues
