How it works The wholesaler awards will be decided by a two- part system. With a combined score from
s in previous years, there are three types of award – one for wholesalers, the other for
judging and customer voting, the top five entries in each category will be shortlisted, with the highest scorers receiving the award. After careful consideration, given the ongoing challenge of the COVID-19 pandemic, Datateam Business Media, organisers of the EW Awards, is excited to reveal plans to move the event to a digital platform for 2021 – providing a unique opportunity for even more industry professionals to be a part of it. EW editor Bryony Andrews commented: “The health and safety of everyone involved is our number one priority, but we also know that now – perhaps more than ever – it’s essential to recognise all of the hard work going on in the sector and celebrate those that have been deservingly selected as winners by their peers. We believe that by moving the EW Awards to a live streamed virtual event, we can still provide an event that honours the ethos of the awards while safeguarding everyone involved.” Bryony continued: “I am delighted to have a chance to invite everyone involved in the electrical wholesaling sector to join us on 20 May for the first ever live stream EW Awards.” The live stream will be hosted on the dedicated EW Awards werbste,
