Dencon through the decades

Dencon, now known as The DENCON GROUP, is celebrating 80 years (yes, 80 years!) in the electrical and lighting industries, trading under its brand names of Dencon Accessories, Vernon's Fuse Company, Lyveco, and of course LYVIA Electrical, to be recognised as one of the leading names in our field for the best part of a century.

Samuel Sullam, Founder T

he company has gone through some changes since being incorporated

in 1939, but are pleased that the same family are still at the helm. From humble beginnings in East

London, to their 40,000+sqft building in Harlow, the company remains a friendly family run business with helpful, well-trained, and informative staff. Dencon’s Managing Director, Richard Sullam, commented: “It is an honour to follow in the footsteps of my father and his father, and I look forward to future generations continuing with the same dedication and passion for the growth of our family business." Quality has always remained a

central focus at Dencon, which is why all products are manufactured to the highest UK and EU standards, with many also being certified to fulfil the most up to date ASTA, BSI and GS/TUV standards.
