New Labour Market Intelligence published by The Electrotechnical Skills Partnership (TESP) has shown an increased focus on low carbon activities and an increase in expected demand for qualifi ed electricians and apprentices.


The study found more work associated with the net zero carbon agenda compared to 2020. When looking at which technologies are likely to have the most signifi cant impact over the next three years, responses included energy effi ciency management (38%), EV or vehicle to grid infrastructure (31%), automation (21%) and network/wi-fi enabled devices (20%). Fitting, therefore, that this month’s issue features a number of experts speaking on just these topics.
