ESP appoints new ASM for East Midlands E


SP has appointed Robert Olver as area sales manager for the East Midlands, where he will play a key role in supporting customers and driving growth across the territory. Rob joins the business with a strong background in electrical wholesale, having progressed from a graduate trainee position into a range of sales and management roles. In his new role with ESP, Rob will


be responsible for driving demand across the company’s product portfolio throughout the East Midlands. Working closely with electrical wholesalers, contractors and installers, he will focus on developing existing accounts, identifying new business opportunities and supporting customers through product demonstrations, training and technical guidance. His role will be centred on building strong customer relationships and increasing awareness of the ESP range across the region.


ESP is confi dent that Rob’s blend of wholesale experience, commercial acumen and customer-focused approach will make him a valuable addition to the team as the company continues to grow its presence across the region.


Luceco CEO announces retirement


J


ohn Hornby, CEO at Luceco, has announced he will retire from the group with eff ect from 31 December 2026. In his 21 years leading the business, John has played a central role in Luceco’s growth and success, helping to transform the group into one of the electrical industry’s most respected manufacturers across wiring accessories, LED lighting, portable power, EV charging and wider electrifi cation solutions.


Under his leadership, Luceco has grown signifi cantly, broadened its product portfolio, enhanced its manufacturing capability and strengthened relationships with customers and partners across the professional, wholesale, retail and commercial sectors. John commented: “It has been a privilege to serve as CEO of Luceco and I am enormously proud of the group’s development over this period. With a strong


platform for growth, underpinned by Luceco’s competitive advantages and structural opportunities, the group is confi dent in the prospects for the current fi nancial year and beyond.”
