What measures have you put in place in response to COVID-19? First and foremost, the health and wellbeing of our employees, customers and suppliers has been, and remains, our number one priority. We have implemented the necessary safeguarding measures within our office, factory and warehouse environments including home working, social distancing and strict cleaning policies. Additionally, all employees are required to undertake a Coronavirus Awareness training module to ensure best practices are understood and adopted throughout the business. We are constantly monitoring the situation and following official government advice to ensure that our safety processes remain in line with current guidelines.
How are you supporting wholesalers? We recognise that these are difficult and challenging times for all businesses, and we remain committed to supporting our wholesale partners as much as we can. With lockdown measures limiting the opportunity for face-to- face contact and meetings, we have adopted alternative methods such as video calls to keep dialogue with our partners open and business moving as much as possible. We have also set up our factory and logistics
teams so that we can fulfil order requirements on customers normal delivery days, subject to stock availability. In order to meet this commitment, there will be occasions where we will deliver orders using carriers. Where we deliver via our own fleet, we have implemented further safety protocol for these instances including making deliveries to the entrance of the building, not entering customer buildings, drivers wearing gloves when handling goods and taking a name for the delivery note rather than requiring a signature.

visitors follow, in order to minimise any risk to our staff and visitors alike. This includes dedicated collection points
where visitors will need to phone through to us (the number will be visible on signage) and must remain in their vehicle throughout. Our team, wearing gloves, will then load the order into vehicles with all the associated paperwork.
A box of catalogues for trade counters can be
added to wholesale deliveries, and our customer services team can help with any queries regarding delivery or collection arrangements. We understand that wholesalers are now getting busier with more staff returning from furlough, but each business will be working at a different pace while the industry adjusts to new ways of working. As such, we are monitoring our processes daily, and working with all our partners individually to find the best ways to move forward together.
Can orders still be placed for collection? Yes. We will continue to offer our collection service from our Manchester and Hastings sites. At present, collections will not be available at our Watford depot. Again, safety is paramount, so we have put procedures in place that we request our
Have you experienced a rise in demand for particular products during the pandemic? COVID-19 has forced the need to create hygienic environments and to minimise the spread of bacteria. As a result, we have seen unprecedented levels of demand for our Bio trunking range. We have two systems as part of our standard range that contain Bio technology - Odyssey and Sterling Curve Profile 1 and these are manufactured using a silver ion solution throughout the product. This disrupts the key cell functions of bacteria and prevents them from reproducing. In simple terms, this means the trunking will deliver ongoing antimicrobial protection against 99.9% of harmful bacteria, including MRSA. We have many years of experience in this area.
It was the crucial combination of our capability, knowledge and product range that led to Marshall-Tufflex supplying many of the trunking systems at the new NHS Nightingale sites – a huge project that we are immensely proud of.
