One key difference with the 304 compared to the rest of the COMBI range is the lid. For starters, the lid is flat providing an endless list of possible retrofit options (sensors, camera etc). What’s more WISKA also offers a rotary switch lid option – the retro design is perfect for outside lighting and heating systems or anywhere looking for an alternative design to standard fixtures and fittings.
The lid itself has a bayonet cap, simple place the lid on and a quarter turn locks the lid into place. A unique hook closing mechanism prevents unauthorised access (a tool is required to gain entry once closed). WISKA’s SPRINT and Brace Systems
offer a whole heap of installation options when used with the 304. From the ESKV cable gland to the VentGLAND (preventing
condensation being built up inside the enclosure) the SPRINT system is a comprehensive cable gland range that works seamlessly with the COMBI Series. WISKA’s BraceFITTING is an IP68 fitting for flexible conduit. The BraceFITTING can be screwed directly into the COMBI 304’s M20 threaded entries (without the use of a locknut). The conduit is then simply inserted into the BraceFITTING and the clasps clip into the grooves. For rigid conduit, WISKA’s KRASM offers a quick and easy installation: simply screw the KRASM into the threaded M20 entry and insert rigid conduit. The KRASM’s internal strain relief system ensures cables are safe and secure. For SWA connections with the COMBI 304, WISKA offers two options.

Firstly, the earthing spring, which fixes around the thread of the cable gland. The earth cable is then attached to an eyelet on the spring. The second option is the EC Solo, a single earth bar which can be used across the COMBI range on any M20 entry (coming soon). WISKA has packaged the COMBI 304 individually in an eye-catching box
design that lists all the key technical points as well as an augmented reality (AR) experience. Users simply download the free Zappar app and scan the box. An interactive COMBI 304 pops out and comes to life from the page. You can open and close the AR COMBI 304 as well as click on the icons to explore the features and benefits. “The use of AR packaging is an industry first and a huge step forward,” commented Elliott Rothon, marketing manager at WISKA UK. “Not only is it a unique sales aid, it also provides an experience that both wholesalers and

customers can use/share together. Creating an experience is vital in today’s market, this product and piece of packaging will help support the wholesaler in achieving this.”
Supporting wholesalers To help further support the wholesaler market, WISKA also plans to launch a stockist scheme in September. The scheme will help contractors identify official WISKA suppliers in the industry. The scheme will include an official plaque along with promotional product boards for wholesalers to display ranges. “We have a fantastic range of products and services to offer our
