Sector stars shine at EDA Learning Achievement Awards Now in its tenth year, the Electrical Distributors’ Association (EDA) held its annual Learning Achievement Awards at London’s Shard, celebrating individuals from across the UK who have shone in their Apprenticeship or their EDA Product Knowledge studies.
The trophies were presented by EDA President, CEF’s Chris Ashworth, and by John Henry, managing director at EDA Apprenticeships Plus, the organisation which operates the Association’s Apprenticeship Service and sponsors of the Awards.

EDATA linked with Agathos Chalice ERP system The EDA and affi liate member Agathos Systems have announced the integration of the EDATA data pool and the Chalice ERP system. EDA wholesalers and branches already benefi t from free access to the EDATA data pool, but this latest technical connection gives Chalice customers centralised access to rich product information, images and PDF product data sheets for thousands of products from leading manufacturers.

Legrand announced as latest EDATA data pool sponsor
Legrand Electric is the 16th leading manufacturer to announce its sponsorship of EDATA. The 26 sponsors, a mix of manufacturers and wholesalers of various sizes, have each pledged their support to the data pool.
“Legrand has been a member of the EDATA data pool since 2021, but this recent decision to upgrade our commitment to sponsor level comes in response to the positive feedback we’ve received from our wholesaler customers about the data pool,” explains Jeff Platt, sales director – cable management at Legrand. He added: “As sponsors, we take our seat on the EDATA Steering Group and can contribute to its long-term strategy for the good of the sector.”
