MIPI Interface TFTs Winstar have announced a new range of TFT LCDs with a MIPI Interface
The MIPI Display Serial Interface (MIPI DSISM) defines a high-speed serial interface between a host processor and a display module. The interface enables manufacturers to integrate displays to achieve high performance, low power, and low electromagnetic interference (EMI) while reducing pin count and maintaining compatibility across different vendors. Designers can use MIPI DSI to facilitate brilliant colour rendering for the most demanding imagery and video scenes and to support transmission of
stereoscopic content. Sizes are 5 inch , 7 inch and 8 inch.

Antenova introduces Robusta - a very low profile
GNSS antenna for metal surfaces Antenova’s Robusta antenna operates in the 1559-1609 MHz bands and uses a new layered design that enables it to radiate effectively when it’s mounted on a metal surface.
The antenna measures 23mm x 16mm x 1.7mm and comes with a100mm or 150mm cable and IPEX MHF connector and an adhesive pad for easy integration into a device.
It can be used on metal objects such as a bicycle frames, motor cycles, vehicles, containers or any other property that needs to be tracked and located accurately.
It is also a good choice for smart lighting and smart meters.

Kemtron launches a flame retardant
conductive elastomer for RFI/EMI shielding. Kemtron, the British manufacturer of RFI/EMI shielding gaskets, materials and components has launched a flame retardant, low smoke, low toxicity EMC shielding gasket. Tested and approved to the international standard UL94V-0 by Underwriters Laboratories for flame retardancy, file number E344902.
The material is a nickel coated graphite loaded into silicone elastomers, product code SNG-FR, the gasket provided a highly electrically conductive path between mating flanges of an electronics equipment enclosure giving a high level of RFI/EMI shielding. Nickel coated graphite in silicone is the most cost effective of all the electrically conductive silicone
elastomers and its performance in many applications will exceed that of silver based products due to its more aggressive surface finish providing a very low surface contact resistance. The material can be supplied as an extruded strip in various profiles, “O” rings or flat die cut gaskets. Electrically conductive pressure sensitive adhesive can be applied to flat gaskets to aid assembly.
