navigation, Smart Home, and industrial automation.”
Barth went on to say:
“Nordic has always been characterised by great innovative strength. The company was a pioneer in the development of universally usable low-energy wireless technology. And the first Bluetooth low energy connectivity solutions came from Nordic. Since then, with its Bluetooth low energy SoCs the company has established itself as a market leader in ultra low power wireless solutions across all target markets. In the last year Nordic’s Bluetooth low energy SoCs accounted for 40 per cent of all newly registered designs worldwide!” Another partnership recently announced was between Rutronik and TDK-Lambda
Germany. Rutronik has already established itself successfully on the market for power supplies, while TDK-Lambda is one of the world’s leading developers and manufacturers of power supplies. Axel Stangl explains the need for another sales partnership. “Our goal is always to offer our customers the most innovative products from market-leading suppliers, so the TDK-Lambda products are an essential addition to our power electronics range. For AC/DC and DC/DC power supplies, our customers now profit form a heavily expanded range of goods, specifically in terms of AC/DC power supply units in the 4W-15kW power class.
“Another benefit of the partnership with TDK-Lambda is the physical proximity. This ensures that communication and goods only have
short distances to travel, providing maximum flexibility for our customers.” Ulrich Schwarz explains TDK-Lambda’s side of the deal. “For TDK-Lambda, it is important to offer our customers not only direct access to our products but also the opportunity to order through authorised specialist distributors,” explains Schwarz. “We place great value in ensuring that they can also obtain in-depth technical support there as well. Rutronik is a reliable partner in this regard, as it not only offers this service, but also has a good market access in Central Europe in particular. “As a result, this partnership enables us to further expand our global sales strategy and offer our users personal support and logistics services through Rutronik.” Rutronik’s customers can receive TDK- Lambda products worldwide through the e- commerce platform
www.rutronik24.com. Stangl says: “The acquisition of new customers is at the forefront of our Rutronik24 sales organisation, because the customers that buy components through Rutronik today are not necessarily the customers that also buy entire power supplies. As a solution provider in power electronics, we are also driving our design- in business in Central Europe.” Both Schwarz and Stangl have been surprised by the initial response from the market. Schwarz comments: “We were astonished how quick Rutronik24’s customers were to pick up on this partnership and express their interest in our solutions. Of course, it’s much too soon to talk about early achievements, but we see our choice of Rutronik as the right partner for a successful future vindicated.”
Ulrich Schwarz, sales director at TDK-Lambda.
“We too are surprised about the considerable positive response,” says Stangl. “We have already received some very interesting queries and projects, both through
rutronik24.com and through our sales channels.” From long-standing partnerships to
more recent deals, Rutronik is expanding its growth and it is allowing the company to branch out into new markets and establish themselves in existing markets.
